Wild Island 9. The Change

"Adrian's strange room suddenly seems to have morphed into a horrific cave; it's elegant carpet glows like burning lava and the trinkets which line the walls seem to come to life. They swish from side to side - floating, jumping. Am I the one moving? I cannot say. I imagine tiny squeaks, laughs - voices calling from a distant place.

Suddenly I become aware of the sensation of being watched. I glance around to check but it only makes my less sure of what I am seeing."
